First Baptist Dalton offers a vibrant, rich, and meaningful ministry for all adult ages and interests. Our Spiritual Formation ministry encompasses Sunday School, Wednesday Night Bible Study, Women’s Ministry and Men’s Ministry.

Sunday School
Our single largest weekly opportunity is Adult Sunday School which takes place from 9:30 AM until 10:15 AM each Sunday. Our Sunday School is made up of over 7 traditional classes and 2 different age-based groups which we call communities. Beyond studying the scripture, these groups provide care, fellowship, and ministry opportunities for their members. At First Baptist, Adult Sunday School is at the very heart of our church and is considered one of the essential aspects of our life together.

Sunday School 360
Sunday School 360' classes are organized into communities loosely based on age. Each class has a community leader that cultivates relationships, communicates with members and organizes care. Teachers rotate through the classes in seven/eight week sessions. If you don’t currently have a Sunday School class and are looking for a place to connect, please consider joining one of these new classes.

Our Women’s ministry is all about fostering Christian friendships and seeking God’s grace and peace in our everyday lives. We gather to study God’s word and how it applies to us as friends, moms, wives, sisters, and women from all walks of life. We’re all about “doing life together”, supporting one another and “leaning in” to each other’s needs.
Our Women’s Ministry sponsors weekly small groups where women can take advantage of deeper discipleship studies, build relationships and connect with ministry opportunities in the local area.
Retreats and dinners featuring outstanding speakers and performing artists are also offered annually.

We offer topical Bible studies that help us

happening in the world.

In addition to our Youth Bible Study and Children's Mission opportunities, we offer a Pastor's Bible Study at 5:45pm in Room 233 and Senior Adult Bible Studies at 10:30am and 4:00pm in the Parlor.
